Greetings wanderers!
Despite the busy life of work and blogging, I decided to join the fray for Spookathon. Spookathon is a readathon hosted by a couple of booktubers. You can find a link that it explains it far better than I can here.
Here are a list of the challenges:
Read a thriller.
Read a book with purple on the cover
Read a book not set in the current time period
Read a book with a spooky word in the title
Read a book with pictures
Now, I’m not going to be participating in the buddy read of Toil and Trouble. This is due to me being on a book buying ban and the book not available at my library because other people got to it first. 🙂
As for the books that I will be reading, they are the following:
Some Danger Involved by Will Thomas
I believe this is supposed to be a type of thriller? At any rate, I’m counting it as a thriller, not set in this time period, and it has the spooky word of danger in the title.
Chasing the Moon by A. Lee Martinez
This will fulfill the purple cover bit of the challenge. 🙂 And it helps that A. Lee Martinez is one of my favorite authors. It’s one of the few books I haven’t read of his. <3
Schmuck the Buck by EXO books
Now, you may be thinking “That…is not horror”. And you’d be correct. BUT IT HAS PICTURES. So, we’re going with that.
I feel good about this TBR. Spookathon runs from October 15th through 21st. I’ll be posting up my progress on Twitter.
