In an effort to tackle my ever expanding TBR pile, I’ve decided to pick from my TBR jar for December. Now, because at times I can be a mood reader and there are review requests waiting for me, I’ve only picked out four titles from my TBR Jar. They are the following:

After the Golden Age by Carrie Vaugh: This is a super hero novel. Or rather, it’s a novel about the daughter of two super heroes? Celia West is the daughter of two heroes, Captain Olympus and Spark. She also happens to get kidnapped. (304 pages)

The Left Hand of Darkness by Ursula K. Le Guin: I have yet to read a book from this author so I’m glad I got this one! It’s a story that has a civilization with no genders. Or rather, they choose their gender when they reproduce? I don’t know but it sounds interesting! (320 pages)

Beneath A Silent Moon by Tracy Grant: From what I’ve gathered about this book is it’s about spies in 1817. And checking goodreads…it’s the 7th in the series. OH WELL. I’m going to give it a try of reading this book without reading the others before it. (430 pages)

The Time Machine/Invisible Man by H.G. Wells: I am not the biggest classics reader but I’ve been wanting to try and change that. I think this is a good choice to go in with that. Though, tempted to count this as two books.

Have you read any of these books? What did you think of them?

May you get lost in a book,

Chrissy
